Why every "free code list" is fake

A Google Play redeem code is a 20-character string tied to a real prepaid balance that somebody paid for. It can be redeemed once. That single fact kills every code list on the internet:

  • If a code were real and public, it would be gone in seconds. Thousands of people see the same list. The first person to type it in takes the balance; everyone else gets "This code has already been redeemed."
  • Most listed codes were never real. They are randomly generated strings that fit the format. They fail because they never existed.
  • Nobody gives away money for free traffic. Each ₹100 code costs someone ₹100. A site handing out hundreds of them daily would be burning cash to give you an ad view.

What the "code generator" sites are actually doing

A generator promises a code, then asks you to prove you are human. That "verification" is the product:

  1. The endless offer loop. Complete one offer, then another, then another. There is no code at the end — the site is paid per offer you complete.
  2. Credential phishing. It asks for your Google password or an OTP so it can take the account. No legitimate service ever needs either.
  3. Malware. It hands you an APK that is not what it claims to be.
If a site asks for your Google password, a one-time passcode, or payment "to unlock" a free code, close the tab. That is the whole scam.

Where real free codes actually come from

There are only three legitimate sources, and none of them is a public list:
