Reward App Points Not Credited? Why It Happens and How to Fix It

You finished the offer and nothing arrived. Work through the actual causes in order, and know what evidence turns a support ticket into a credit.

You installed the app, hit the milestone, and your balance did not move. This is the most common complaint in the entire category, and it usually has a specific, identifiable cause.

Work through these in order. The first two account for the large majority of cases.

1. It is still inside the pending window

Not every offer credits instantly. The advertiser has to confirm your completion, and different advertisers do that on very different schedules — some in real time, some in a nightly batch, some after a hold period designed to catch fraud.

Check the offer's own stated timeframe before assuming anything is broken. If it said "credits within 24 hours", the clock has not run out yet at hour six. If the app shows a pending or in-progress state for the offer, the tracking worked and you are simply waiting.

What to do: wait out the stated window. Only escalate after it has passed.

2. A completion condition was not met

Offers carry conditions, and advertisers enforce them strictly because they are paying for a specific outcome. The usual ones:

ConditionWhat trips people up
New users onlyYou installed that game once, years ago, on the same account. The advertiser sees a returning user and does not pay.
Reach a specific level or actionReaching level 14 of a level-15 offer pays nothing. There is no partial credit.
Complete within a time limitSome offers expire days after you start them.
Region restrictionsThe offer was for India residents and your connection said otherwise.
One completion per userA second attempt on a new account is fraud, and it is detected.

What to do: re-read the conditions as written. If one was genuinely not met, the credit is not coming, and no support ticket will change the advertiser's determination.

3. Tracking was broken before you started

This is the frustrating category: you did everything right, but the chain that links your completion back to your account was severed. A reward app cannot credit what it cannot attribute.

The usual culprits:

  • A VPN or proxy. Your apparent country stops matching the offer's target, and region-locked offers reject outright.
  • Ad-blockers or privacy browsers. The tracking link that carries your click ID gets stripped, so the install arrives anonymous.
  • Installing from the wrong place. Leaving the offer, then searching the app up in the Play Store yourself, loses the tracking link entirely. This is the single most common self-inflicted failure — you must complete the journey from the offer's own button.
  • Already having the app installed. Even if you deleted it, the store may record a reinstall rather than a new install.
  • "Limit ad tracking" enabled. Some attribution methods stop working.

How offerwalls track completions explains the chain in detail; understanding it makes these failures obvious in advance.

What to do: for the next offer, turn off the VPN, start from the offer's own button, and do not detour through the store. For the current one, tracking that never fired usually cannot be reconstructed — but it is still worth a support ticket, because some networks can match a completion manually if you have the evidence below.

4. The completion was flagged

Anti-fraud systems reject completions that look automated: emulators, rooted devices, several accounts on one device, a burst of completions faster than a human could manage, mismatched device and network signals. Legitimate users occasionally get caught by this — a shared family device or an unusual network can trip it.

What to do: contact support and explain your setup honestly. Do not use emulators for offers; that will get an account closed rather than credited.

What to send support

A ticket saying "my points did not come" is very hard to act on. A ticket with evidence often gets resolved. Include:

  • The exact offer name and the reward it advertised
  • The date and approximate time you started it
  • A screenshot proving completion — the level-up screen, the confirmation email, the in-game profile showing your level
  • Your username or player ID in the advertiser's app
  • Whether you used a VPN, and what device you were on

Take that completion screenshot at the moment you finish, before you know whether it credited. Reconstructing evidence days later is often impossible, and it is the difference between a resolved ticket and an unprovable one.

When it genuinely is not coming

If a condition was not met, or tracking never fired and there is no evidence to match against, the honest answer is that the credit is lost. An app that pretends otherwise and strings you along is being less kind than one that tells you plainly.

What protects you next time is procedural: read conditions before starting, disable VPNs, begin from the offer's own button, screenshot the completion, and favour a few substantial offers over many trivial ones. If the issue is a redemption that has not arrived rather than an offer that has not credited, that is a different problem — how long redemptions should take covers it.
